Kelm Electric in Kemah, TX

Serving Kemah

Kemah sits where Clear Lake meets Galveston Bay. Its bayfront location means many homes deal with salt air, wind and elevated construction.

Kelm Electric provides residential electrical work for homeowners in Kemah. We’re a local, family-run part of Kelm Home Services, based in Santa Fe, and the licenses behind the work are held by owner Clint Kelm: TECL #21849, TMEL #510665.

What to know about Kemah homes

• Salt air can corrode panels, outdoor outlets and fixtures faster than inland. Outdoor equipment suited to the location lasts longer.
• If water has reached outlets, panels or equipment, it should be inspected before it’s used again. We help homeowners here assess storm and flood damage.
• Raised homes need careful routing and protection for wiring and equipment below the living level.

Permits and inspections

Depending on where your home is, permits and inspections in the Kemah area are handled by the city or by Galveston County. We’ll tell you what your project needs and take care of it.
